What to Know About Candace Cameron Bure's FULLER HOUSE: Season 5

DJ (Candace Cameron Bure) and Steve (Scott Weinger), Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and Jimmy (Adam Hagenbuch), and Kimmy (Andrea Barber) and Fernando (Juan Pablo di Pace) all tied the knot in a backyard ceremony.

Not only that, but the finale concluded with Stephanie revealing that she was expecting her second child.

As well as taking an emotional toll on viewers, it seems filming the scenes were pretty hard for its stars too, with Bure admitting it was a struggle.

“I didn’t even wanna memorize my dialogue,” she told TV Guide. “The words hurt too much. It was a difficult day and a difficult scene to get through.”

Sweetin added: “We were all excited for this closure and to really do this last episode and do it with such love but I think at the same time, we were also dreading that last scene because we all knew just the emotion that would be there.”

Meanwhile, a few episodes earlier, the show explained Becky’s absence after the Netflix series was forced to write-out actress Lori Laughlin.

In episode 15, Jesse tries to get to the bottom of the mystery of who bit daughter Pamela at school, though DJ suggests speaking to wife Becky before doing anything drastic.

However, in one line he explains her absence, revealing: “Aunt Becky is in Nebraska helping out her mother. I don’t want to bother her with such a tiny little thing like this.”
