General Hospital fans complain they’re “sick of Sasha” acting “dumber than a box of rocks” as she willingly accepted blood money from Jenz Sidwell after a near-death encounter.
During the April 21 episode of General Hospital, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton), like many viewers at home, couldn’t wrap their brain around why Sasha Gilmore (Sofia Mattsson) would make a deal with the devil. In a tense confrontation, Jason pressed Sasha for answers as to why she would seek help from Sidwell after he kidnapped her and threatened her life.
Jason asked Sasha, “Why would you take anything from Sidwell? He kidnapped you at gunpoint, put you in a room with a bomb, and we barely got you out of there. Why would you take money from that bastard and then lie to Max and Brook Lynn about it? I thought that they were your friends?”
To which Sasha hit back, “They are my friends. And I didn’t lie, exactly.” She continued, “Look, yeah, he did what you said he did. But he only did it in response to my mother’s conning him and then stealing his diamonds worth hundreds of millions of dollars.”
Jason, raising his voice in frustration, countered, “This man tried to kill you.” And Sasha replied, “I’m not saying he’s not dangerous. What I’m saying is that he was provoked.”
Sasha then went on to justify her decision by claiming the only reason she took the money was to support her friends at Deception and provide for her children. And while Jason assured that he and Michael Corinthos are more than willing to back her financially, Sasha shut down the conversation as she argued: “I want to know that I can support myself and my child.”
After the heated exchange, General Hospital fans took to X (formerly Twitter) to air out their anger over Sasha’s recent behavior. One viewer wrote, “So now sasha is dumber than a box of rocks too that’s just great. You know the women who watch this show are not stupid and yet all the women on this show are dumbed down and helpless at this point… except joss in the now triple secret wsb.”
Another viewer added, “Sasha…. Just stupid!!!!” While a third viewer wrote, “Please do us all a favor and kill Sasha off.” And someone else agreed, “It’s time for her to go away and never come back.”
