Suzanne is a breath of fresh air on General Hospital. She’s honest, real, and most importantly, not afraid of Drew. Fans are loving the character and calling for more appearances.
Suzanne for the Win
Suzanne (Jen Ray) is Alexis and Diane’s (Carolyn Hennesy) loyal assistant, who pops in and out of the office from time to time. There just may be more to her than meets the eye.
Suzanne showed up at Alexis’ house to help Willow (Katelyn MacMullen) go over her testimony and prepare for her upcoming trial, and she stole the show. After Alexis warned her about Drew’s (Cameron Mathison) attitude, she stayed anyway to lend a hand. She didn’t back down when Drew insulted her, and fans loved it when her boss completely defended her and her juror skills. Alexis praised her as smart, perceptive, and a great reader of people.
Suzanne proved Alexis right when she announced “guilty” after Willow’s testimony. She then explained that Willow gave too much information and appeared manipulative, so a jury would not believe her.
Is Something Else Going On?
While most fans love Suzanne, some believe she is up to something. One theory is that she shot Drew because of her loyalty to Alexis. The assistant knew how he was keeping her boss from her granddaughter and believed she was doing the right thing. Anything is possible, but it doesn’t seem like the best reason to commit murder.
Others believe she is actually working for Sidwell (Carlo Rota). Marco (Adrian Anchondo) may have gotten to Suzanne when he joined the firm, and she could be spying for them. Let’s not forget that Sidwell had a creepy interest in Alexis when he first came to Port Charles. Remember that pesky dagger?
