After getting married, Georgie and Mandy move out of the Cooper house and into a new one in a brand new Young Sheldon season 7, episode 8 trailer.
Georgie and Mandy move into their new home in the new Young Sheldon season 7, episode 8 trailer. On the heels of their wedding in the midseason episode of the CBS show, the couple is making another big change that could potentially be integral to their future. Since Meemaw’s house was destroyed by the Medford tornado in the Young Sheldon season 6 finale, Georgie and Mandy, alongside Baby Cece, have been living with the Coopers. However, they are about to have new living arrangements as Young Sheldon season 7 down.
CBS (via TV Promos) releases the trailer for Young Sheldon season 7, episode 8, “An Ankle Monitor and a Big Plastic Crap House,” which sees Mandy and Georgie move in with the McAllisters. Watch the video below:
The Young Sheldon season 7 video shows the pair with Baby Cece already moving in with Mandy’s parents. Unfortunately, while Audrey is thrilled to have her daughter and granddaughter in her home, she isn’t happy with Georgie being with them despite his marriage to the family.
Will The McCallisters Be In Georgie And Mandy’s Young Sheldon Sequel Show?
Georgie And Mandy Will Star In Their Own Young Sheldon Sequel
Georgie and Mandy married in a spur-of-the-moment ceremony that left Sheldon unable to attend. That said, the Coopers weren’t the only incomplete family for the occasion, as Audrey and Jim also didn’t have their son with them when they rushed to the courthouse. That being said, as the couple moves in with the McAllisters, Young Sheldon has more opportunities to feature the latest family to join The Big Bang Theory prequel. Beyond the ongoing show, it’s unknown if Audrey and Jim will continue to be part of the universe that Chuck Lorre and Bill Prady created for CBS.
After Young Sheldon, Georgie and Mandy’s story will continue via a new series. Specifics about its setting remain uncertain, but it’s possible that the pair won’t be settled down in Medford, Texas. Currently, no other Cooper is confirmed to be a series regular in the series. Assuming that they move out of town, it would also be trickier to incorporate the McAllisters into the new sequel project. Otherwise, CBS can simply keep the family of three with Jim and Audrey for the time being, which will help in setting up Georgie’s eventual future as the owner of Dr. Tire.
While it would be great to surround Georgie and Mandy with a new ensemble, it’s regrettable that they won’t have constant interactions with the Coopers. Meemaw’s current predicament after getting arrested makes this more saddening, considering that she was their primary source of support during the couple’s darkest days. Hopefully, the Young Sheldon sequel series is able to bring some familiar faces, such as Connie and Missy, even as guests.
