Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage has quickly become a breakout hit for CBS — so much so that it was renewed for a second season before its first had even finished airing.
A spinoff of Young Sheldon, the comedy follows Georgie Cooper (Montana Jordan) and his older wife Mandy McAllister (Emily Osment) as they navigate young marriage, parenthood, and small-town Texas life. The couple raises their daughter, CeeCee, while living with Mandy’s family. Georgie works for his father-in-law, Jim (Will Sasso), and Mandy pursues her dream of becoming a weather reporter.

1. Montana Jordan as Georgie Cooper
Montana Jordan reprises his role as Georgie Cooper, originally introduced in Young Sheldon. Now a husband and father, Georgie juggles running McAllister Auto & Tire and trying to grow into adulthood. Jordan has said he enjoys showing Georgie’s evolution “from a teenager messing around to being the man of the household.”
2. Emily Osment as Mandy McAllister
Emily Osment returns as Mandy, Georgie’s ambitious wife and former weather forecaster. Known for her roles in Hannah Montana, Young & Hungry, and The Kominsky Method, Osment brings both humor and emotional depth to the role. Season 2 will further explore Mandy’s complicated working relationship with her ex-boyfriend and current boss, Scott (Christopher Gorham).
3. Rachel Bay Jones as Audrey McAllister
Tony Award–winner Rachel Bay Jones returns as Mandy’s sharp-tongued mother, Audrey. Best known for Dear Evan Hansen and The Good Doctor, Jones says she loves playing a woman who “says things I would never say.” Expect Audrey’s blunt opinions and overbearing energy to continue stirring family drama in Season 2.
4. Will Sasso as Jim McAllister
Comedy veteran Will Sasso (MADtv, Mom) plays Jim, Mandy’s kindhearted but stubborn father. In Season 2, Jim struggles with retirement, prompting Mandy and Georgie to find ways to keep him busy — and out of trouble.
5. Dougie Baldwin as Connor McAllister
Dougie Baldwin (Disjointed) returns as Mandy’s introverted younger brother, Connor. While details about his storyline are scarce, fans can expect more focus on his personal growth and budding relationship with Chloe Costa.

Jessie Prez plays Ruben, Georgie’s sarcastic coworker and now business partner at the auto shop. Season 2 gives viewers a deeper look into Ruben’s life outside of work, revealing more heart and humor behind his rough exterior.

Matt Letscher (Narcos: Mexico, The Flash) is back as Fred Fagenbacher, Audrey’s old flame and owner of a rival auto shop. His feud with Georgie continues this season, promising more competition — and plenty of small-town tension.
10. Christopher Gorham as Scott
Christopher Gorham (Ugly Betty, Covert Affairs) returns as Scott, Mandy’s ex-boyfriend and current boss. Though Gorham also stars in CBS’s upcoming Sheriff Country, he’ll appear in Season 2, where tensions between Scott, Mandy, and Georgie reach new heights.
