The second season of Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage will be arriving on CBS before you know it.
While The Big Bang Theory may have concluded, its legacy lives on through spinoffs. First up was Young Sheldon, which ended after its seventh season in 2024. And now there’s the ongoing direct sequel to Young Sheldon, Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage on CBS. Starring Montana Jordan as Georgie Cooper and Emily Osment as Mandy McAllister, the series is set in the long-ago time of the 1990s. But when will the release date for Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage season 2 arrive?
The Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage season 2 release date is October 16 at 8:00 PM ET on CBS. After the debut, new episodes of the sophomore season will be released on a weekly basis. CBS Thursdays will be a big night for comedy fans in the fall, as Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage kicks off an hourlong programming block that continues with the hit sitcom Ghosts. These are naturally just two of the many shows that will be debuting or returning in the fall. Currently, a trailer for Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage has yet to be released.
A direct sequel to Young Sheldon, Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage follows the relationship between Sheldon’s older brother Georgie and his wife, Mandy. The sitcom explores the couple’s family life in 1990s Texas, where they live with their daughter, Ceecee, and Mandy’s family. Georgie is eleven years younger than his wife, and works at the auto repair shop owned by his father-in-law (Will Sasso). Meanwhile, Mandy works as a waitress at a local diner while aspiring to become a weather reporter. However, she sometimes finds herself antagonized by her mother (Rachel Bay Jones).
Season 2 of Georgie & Mandy’s First Marriage will debut October 16 at 8:00 PM ET on CBS.
