Therein, reflecting on his life, his divorce and even dropping his health updates, Gerry Turner shared insight on his bone marrow cancer diagnosis. Notifying that he’s been “feeling great” and won’t be receiving any further treatments until he gets any symptoms, Turner informed fans how he has been taking care of his health.
So I go frequently for blood tests. I’m on, like, a six-month schedule now, and I feel optimistic because the doctor has said, ‘Well when you turn 75, we’re going to have to go three-month increments.’ So it’s telling me that at least he expects me to live another couple of years to get to that. But the bottom line is I feel really good.
I mean this sincerely, from the time I got this diagnosis, it’s a privilege to live like you’re dying. I don’t turn down anything. I feel like I’m more open to emotions. I’m more open to experiences.
Although Gerry Turner refrained from delving deeper into his cancer battle, The Golden Bachelor star explained how his diagnosis made him rethink a lot about his life, love, and future. Perhaps that’s what made him more open to relationships and dating, all over again. Yes, according to Turner, amid his health crisis and following his breakup with Theresa Nist, the reality TV star has found someone new.

Opening up about his life during the podcast, Gerry Turner mentioned that he’s back in the dating world. Yep, the man who just a while ago was dealing with heartbreak and health scares has managed to put himself out there again. And he’s not just casually mingling; he’s reportedly found someone special, who has even met his two daughters, Angie and Jenny.
At this point, it’s going well, but I don’t wanna say too much and jinx it. And I’m trying to respectfully get to a point where there’s an acceptable amount of time from my divorce.
I think the fun part there is, she has daughters that I really relate to, and her daughter, she relates well to my daughters. So we’ve been around each other briefly, but it’s been fun. It’s been a very enjoyable encounter.
