Ghosts Season 4 Is Complicating The Show’s Entire Premise With 1 Surprise Change

While Ghosts season 4 promises to make a change to the show’s usual rules regarding the afterlife, this could massively complicate its entire premise. Ghosts is a CBS sitcom based on the 2019 British series of the same name. The show follows Jay and Sam, a couple who inherit a mansion from a distant relative and convert it into a B+B. After Sam has a near-death experience, she gains the ability to see and communicate with the dead. This allows her to interact with the ghosts of CBS’s Ghosts, a mismatched group who co-exist in her mansion.

The ghosts provide Ghosts with the rest of its main characters and their antics make up a large portion of the show’s storylines. While Ghosts season 4 promises to introduce a new ghost in the form of Mary Holland’s Puritan Patience, this is not the only change that the show will be making to its formula. Sam’s father will also appear, played by Breaking Bad’s Dean Norris. Meanwhile, the show’s creators also revealed in a recent TVLine interview that the ghostly inhabitants of the mansion would be expanded with a change that could be fun or confusing, depending on its handling.
