Ghosts Season 4: Premiere date, plot, and cast revealed

The show Ghosts is back, and its fourth season will have fans of Sam (Rose McIver) and Jay (Utkarsh Ambudkar) eagerly waiting for her return to haunt the rooms of the Woodstone Bed & Breakfast with their lovely group of ghosts. The excitement and anticipation are mounting as the fourth season draws near, and here’s a sneak peek at what’s in store.

Continuing the fall lineup for CBS, *Ghosts* returns for its fourth season on October 17, 2024, at 8:30 PM ET/PT, bringing back some of its familiar cast faces, like Rose McIver and Utkarsh Ambudkar. Some of the questions raised by the characters introduced during Season 3 have been answered.

Reprising her role as Flower, the hippie ghost many thought was gone for good, is Sheila Carrasco. However, the fate of Isaac, the guy who got caught in the middle of a tough situation when the ghost Prudence ensnared him, remains in the hands of Brandon Scott Jones. “In an interview, Jones said that he really hopes to return and added that nobody told him otherwise.

Fans will also see Asher Grodman back as Trevor, Danielle Pinnock as Alberta, Devan Chandler Long as Thorfinn, Rebecca Wisocky as Hetty, Richie Moriarty as Pete, and Román Zaragoza as Sasappis. New to the list are Mary Holland as Prudence and Dean Norris guesting as Sam’s dad, Frank. Finally, the ghost of cholera that was played by Betsy Sodaro returns.

Filming for Season 4 is now in full swing. Much of the cast are keeping busy with promotional posts on social media. For example, on July 20, Asher Grodman posted a group photo captioned by him as “We’re baaaack!” And that wasn’t all since the fun didn’t stop there; Rose McIver captioned a post with “The fourth supper.” It was Danielle Pinnock who was excited to share a behind-the-scenes video saying filming has reached full swing!.

Details of the plot for next season are hardly what could be called well-kept secrets, but the first episode, “Patience,” gives a glimpse into where the story will head. Sam and the spirits rush to find Isaac as he is confronted face-to-face by the ghost Patience for the first time since their last encounter. However, her relationship with her father Frank will reach such a point that it will pave the way for a much-awaited reunion during which she must confront unresolved issues of her past.

All that comedy and heart that viewers have loved with the release of the teaser trailer and poster by CBS for a sneak preview of what’s to come can now see even more laughter, touching moments, and exciting new storylines at the Woodstone B&B.
