WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Chef Gordon Ramsay handed out pizza and at least one high five in Northwest on Wednesday.
Ramsay, who owns Hell’s Kitchen and Fish & Chips at The Wharf, was at his Street Pizza location on 7th Street NW, which opened earlier in June.
While outside the restaurant, Ramsay asked a little girl, “Could I have a high five, please?” The young girl was happy to oblige, and Ramsay told her and the person holding her to enjoy the pizza which the chef handed to him.
Virginia restaurants among best new ones in DC area, Washington Post columnist says.
