Gordon Ramsay pays visit to Wicklow restaurant but what was his favourite dish?

Relieved staff in Bray, Co Wicklow said Gordon Ramsay ‘must have liked the food’ as there were ‘no tantrums’ and ‘no flying plates’ during the celebrity chef’s visit.

The 57-year-old TV presenter and restaurateur popped into Pakistani restaurant Daata Bray over the weekend, leaving staff ‘over the moon (and still shocked)’ by the surprise visit.

‘We are over the moon (and still shocked) that Gordan Ramsay chose Daata Bray to have his dinner tonight.

We cannot believe it. And his favourite dish was the Saleem’s Butter Chicken & Shamim’s Afghani Chicken.’

Gordon Ramsay posed alongside staff following his meal. In another post, they said: ‘No one does it better than our Daata team! Gordan was delighted to chat away to our amazing, talented chefs tonight about the food!

‘We are honoured to have hosted him tonight and are over the moon by all his kind comments on our food, service & ambience.’

This is the second time in recent months that Ramsay has been spotted in Ireland Last October, Galway residents were left in shock this week after he was spotted jogging around the city centre.

Taking to social media, one user shared his hilarious interaction with the Hells Kitchen star, leaving others gobsmacked by the random encounter.

Gordon was spotted alongside what looked to be a film crew, with many speculating if he was exploring the West for business or pleasure.

While driving down the street, one Galwegian was shocked to see the celebrity chef, rolling down the car window to wish him well.

The user couldn’t contain their excitement, repeating ‘Gordon Ramsay I swear on my life, look Gordon Ramsay,’ in the short clip.

The driver went on to yell out ‘Ramsdog’ to get the star’s attention, losing his cool after Gordon acknowledged him.
