Gordon Ramsay Spotted Shredding The Slopes Of Austrian Ski Resort

The celebrity chef proved that his skills extend beyond the kitchen and creative insults.

It turns out celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay can whip up more than beef wellingtons and brutally creative insults—the man’s not half-bad on a pair of skis, too.

Ramsay recently shared a video of himself carving some turns on vacation in Lech, Austria.

Alongside his ski video, Ramsay posted images of a few dishes that, admittedly, my uncultured self can’t identify. Gordon, if you end up reading this, I know—I’m an idiot sandwich.

It’s always funny when skiing and broader pop culture collide, as the reactions from each side of the divide are bound to differ. To the average non-skier, Ramsay looks like an absolute ripper, while I can almost hear the sneers of the ski-bum adjacent crowd: “Where’s the backflip, Gordon?”

I fall somewhere in the middle, cognizant that a guy like Ramsay probably doesn’t have the time to rack up 30-plus days on snow. Throwing f-bombs around kitchens and striking fear into the hearts of junior chefs keeps him plenty busy.
