Gordon Ramsay’s daughter Holly and Olympic swimmer Adam Peaty are engaged!
On Thursday. Sept. 12, the celebrity chef, 57, confirmed the exciting news on Instagram, writing that he’s “so happy” for the couple while sharing multiple sweet images.
Among the carousel of photos, Gordon hugged his daughter from behind as the pair smiled for the camera in one image, while another showed Holly posing proudly with her yellow diamond oval-shaped ring from Pragnell Jewellery, as confirmed by Adam on his Instagram Stories.
Another shot showed Holly holding on to her husband-to-be’s head while wearing a white bikini top as the pair captured a selfie.
“Congratulations to this gorgeous girl @hollyramsayy …. so happy for you and @adam_peaty ! Hols, watching you become the woman you are today with your kindness and your love is absolutely infectious… Adam is a very lucky man !Welcome to the family ❤️,” Gordon wrote in his caption.
He jokingly added, “One down, two to go 😂,” referencing his other two daughters; Megan, 26, and Matilda “Tilly” Ramsay, 22. Gordon and wife Tana, 50, also share sons Jack, 24, Oscar, 5, and Jesse James, 9 months, together.
Holly — who went Instagram official with Team GB swimmer Adam on July 10, 2023 — also shared multiple snaps on the social media site from the special moment, including two of the images posted by Gordon. An additional shot showed her holding out her ring while Adam held onto her hand lovingly.
“I am marrying my best friend. I truly cannot put into words how I am feeling right now. I still remember how big my smile was the morning I got home from my first date with you,” she captioned the post.
“Thank you for letting the little girl inside of me feel loved, seen and happier than ever. I love you & I cannot wait to be your wife 🤍,” Holly added.
“I promise to always be there with you and George, I’m so [grateful] to be in his life and I cannot wait for more,” Holly posted, referencing Adam’s 4-year-old son George, whom he shares with his ex Eirianedd Munro.
“Everything is better with you. Everything has been better since you. Here’s to forever. 💍🫶🏻✨🪩💗🧁,” Holly concluded, adding a Bible verse.
Adam posted the same images on Instagram, as well as another showing Holly’s hand placed on his, and one focusing on her ring as she held it up to the camera.
Calling himself “the luckiest man on earth to have such a gentle, caring and beautiful woman” by his side, the athlete added in his caption, “You fill my heart to the brim and give my soul peace.”
“You have been with me when I’ve been at my lowest and helped me understand myself to navigate my own darkness. You have also celebrated the highs which have been so many, as for the first time in my life, I’m happy with the man I’ve become. You came to church with me and joined the incredible community we have there without a question,” he continued.
Adam added, “Your family have always treated me so generously with their time, emotion and trust. I can’t wait to be joined with them too. I’ve always believed that when two people are engaged and later married that we are no longer two people but we join as one and it’s the biggest privilege to share that with you.”
“Seeing you show the love you give to the most important person in my life, George, even from day one, there was never a question about you becoming my wife one day. I’m looking forward to our life together and the many challenges we’ll face. I promise to always love you with all my heart,” he concluded, before finishing off with a reference to a Bible verse.
