Troy, Aaron, Sophie and Mason are minutes away from learning who will be crowned Australia’s first Food Stars!

As they face the grilling one last time, hosts Gordon Ramsay and Janine Allis make their decision.

To determine their winners, the four semi-finalists were asked to re-pitch their products live on stage to HUNDREDS of industry heavyweights.

But most importantly, one last time to Gordon and Janine.

Mason’s “completely unrehearsed” pitch left the mentors stunned.

“If that’s not rehearsed, it’s phenomenal,” commends Gordon.

Sophie’s pitch was flawless but Janine questions her readiness to “commit 100 per cent” to her business.

“I’m 100 per cent in,” she confirms.

“Aaron, tonight your pitched proved you’re a brilliant showman,” Gordon began. “But, do you honestly feel you’ve showed off your business credentials?”

As for Troy, his pitch was incredibly moving but “you barely talked about the tea range,” grilled Gordon.

Troy admits it’s his “one regret walking out”.

The Food Stars winners are announced

It’s decision time. Gordon and Janine will each choose one Food Star to invest in.

“The person I will be investing in is… Troy!” announces Gordon.

They go in for a big hug and Troy is in tears.

“Tonight’s pitch was incredible. You moved me, you moved Janine and you moved the entire audience,” says Gordon. “Trust me, we have a very exciting 12 months ahead.”

“The person I’m going to invest in is… Sophie!” Janine announces.

“Troy, Sophie, congratulations you are Australia’s First ever Food Stars,” cheers Gordon.

With a small squeal, Sophie leaps out of her seat and can’t believe what she’s hearing.

Cue the fireworks, cue the Champagne! Troy and Sophie will each walk away with a life-changing $250,000 investment and 12-month mentorship from Gordon and Janine.
