Gordon Ramsay is one proud dad!
On July 23, the chef shared that his daughter Tilly, 22, graduated from the University of Nottingham with a degree in Psychology. Gordon shared the big milestone on Instagram with a photo of himself and wife Tana posing with Tilly wearing her traditional cap and gown.
“She’s Done it ! Can’t explain enough how proud we are of this one honestly with everything you’ve been up against and to see you graduate today with a psychology BSc makes me the happiest Dad in the World congratulations darling well done @tillyramsay ❤️❤️❤️,” he captioned his post.
Tilly, who is a judge on MasterChef Junior‘s 9th season alongside her dad, responded to Gordon’s sweet tribute with a message of gratitude for her parents.
“Love you so much 🥹🫶🏼 couldn’t have done it without you and mum!! Xx,” she wrote in the comments.
Gordon’s celebrity pals shared their well wishes, including David Beckham, who commented, “Well done Tilly we are so so proud ❤️❤️.”
Christina Tosi, who has served as a judge on MasterChef Junior, also shared her excitement by writing, “Tilly!!!”
The graduate showed off her diploma on her own Instagram Stories. “And just like that 👩🎓👩🎓BSc in psychology🫶” she wrote.
Gordon’s daughter, Holly, 24, shared an Instagram post celebrating her younger sister. “My baby sis has graduated👩🏼🎓!! You’ll always be my princess & I am so proud of you ⭐️🤍,” she captioned the post.
Along with photos from the big day, Holly’s carousel included a throwback picture of the sisters.
Gordon and Tana also share kids Megan, 26, Jack, 24, Oscar, 5, and Jesse, 8 months. In March, Tilly opened up to PEOPLE about what it’s like being Gordon’s daughter.
“I remember watching him work in the kitchen at home because he used to film quite a bit there,” she said. “And then he slowly started giving me the whisk or giving me the spoon and saying, ‘You need to measure something.’”
“I just remember having so much fun in there with him,” she added. “And at this point I was like, ‘Wow, I really want to be like you one day.’”
Tilly said that all of her older family members are “great” cooks, but she’s passing on the training Gordon gave her to Oscar.
“I’ve got Oscar cooking already and he’s only four,” she laughed, recalling an instance last summer when she asked him to help her make pancakes. “I was teaching him how to do it, making him measure it out. It’s so great to start young and I think he really enjoyed it.”
In the March interview, Tilly revealed how she’s bonding with her father over food in a whole new way.
“We are constantly sending each other new recipes on Instagram that we see and discussing them,” she added.
