Eden Summer Gilmore (Episode 8)
While Eden Summer Gilmore has only begun her acting career, she’s already making her mark. She made her TV debut in Riverdale followed by Supernatural and Nancy Drew. The 14-year-old actress plays Anton’s daughter, Darya Denys, who is forced to make difficult decisions.
Julie Warner (Episode 8)
Shaun and Lea reach another milestone in their relationship when parents come into town. Actress Julie Warner plays Lea’s mom, Pam Dilallo, who has initial reservations about her daughter dating Shaun. Barclay Hope (Episode 8)
Barclay Hope is a prolific actor with more than 30 years in Hollywood. In his early days, he appeared in Alfred Hitchcock Presents, Rin Tin Tin: K-9 Cop, Friday the 13th: The Series, and The Hitchhiker. Most recently, he portrayed Lea’s dad, Mike Dilallo, who quickly accepts Shaun.
Ashley Williams (Episode 7)
Best known for starring in the sitcom How I Met Your Mother, actress Ashley Williams takes on a more serious role portraying patient Hannah Palmer, who is vulnerable to cancer. Since the early 2000s, Ashley has appeared in numerous shows like Dawson’s Creek, Monk, Psych, Law & Order: SVU, Saving Grace, and more.
Matthew MacCaull (Episode 7)
Matthew MacCaull plays Hannah’s husband, Alan Palmer, who struggles with the reality that the love of his life may die. In the past, Matthew has starred in Fringe, Supernatural, When Calls the Heart, and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. What’s more, he’s also worked with The Good Doctor star Freddie Highmore in Bates Motel.
Benjamin Ayres (Episode 7)
While Benjamin Ayres previously played a doctor in the supernatural medical drama Saving Hope, this time around he is a patient named Wyatt. The Good Doctor staff has to figure out how to treat Wyatt after he modified his genome to live longer. Fans may recognize the actor from Smallville, Bitten, Suits, and Burden of Truth.
Jess Salgueiro (Episode 7)
When Sophie (Jess Salgueiro) realizes that her boyfriend Wyatt will stop at nothing to extend his life, she knows it’s time to walk away. Before The Good Doctor, Jess had roles in Orphan Black, Saving Hope, The Strain, The Bold Type, Workin’ Moms, The Boys, and Tiny Pretty Things.
David Del Rio (Episode 6)
David Del Rio plays a veteran named Ben who suffers from PTSD and is found unconscious on the side of the road. Prior to The Good Doctor, the actor appeared on Law & Order, CSI, NCIS, Pitch Perfect, and Grease Live!
Kim Shaw (Episode 6)
Actress Kim Shaw plays Ben’s wife, Zoe, who comes to her husband’s aid when he wakes up from surgery thinking he’s back on the battlefield. Kim has previously been featured in Gossip Girl, The Good Wife, Royal Pains, How I Met Your Mother, and Saving Hope, among many other projects.
Sheila McCarthy (Episode 6)
Despite telling St. Bonaventure doctors that she’s not ill, no one believes the patient Rose (Sheila McCarthy). Sheila got her start in Hollywood nearly three decades ago. Fans may recognize her from Orphan Black and The Umbrella Academy.
Parmiss Sehat (Episode 6)
When patient Valerie (Parmiss Sehat) comes into the ER for an abortion, first-year resident Dr. Jordan Allen grapples with her faith. Parmiss has starred in Arrow, The Twilight Zone, Designated Survivor, and The 100.
Lindsey Kraft (Episode 5)
The winter finale of The Good Doctor opens with Ellie Lewis (Lindsey Kraft), a woman with a persistent migraine which turns out to be a complex medical issue. Previously, Lindsey has appeared in Grey’s Anatomy, Veep, and Grace and Frankie.
Daniel di Tomasso (Episode 5)
Actor Daniel di Tomasso portrays Zane Lumet, Ellie’s new love interest who doesn’t care that she’s married. Before entering the St. Bonaventure E.R., Daniel was featured in other TV shows like Grimm, Chicago Fire, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Dynasty.
