NBC has renewed the show — along with its two sister series, Chicago Fire and Chicago P.D. — for the 2024-25 season. The shows, produced by Universal Television, a division of Universal Studio Group, in association with Wolf Entertainment, all stream on Peacock the day after they air on NBC.
Considering all of the drama that’s unfolded on Season 9 of Chicago Med so far, Season 10 is sure to be action-packed with more medical trauma, relationship troubles, and tragedy involving the staff and patients at Gaffney Chicago Medical Center.
So far in Season 9, Sharon Goodwin’s (S. Epatha Merkerson) ex-husband has been diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, Dr. Dean Archer (Steven Weber) has received a life-saving kidney transplant from his recovering addict son, charge nurse Maggie Lockwood (Marlyne Barrett) is going through a divorce, and Dr. Hannah Asher (Jessy Schram) has had a terrible time with dating.
