‘Days of Our Lives’ (DOOL) spoilers suggest that star-crossed teens Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) and Tate Black (Leo Howard) are still endgame despite all the obstacles keeping them apart.
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Holly Broke Off Her Relationship With Tate
Even going as far back as Holly’s drug overdose ordeal, these two kids have had to contend with the odds being against them for a long time.
Earlier this year, Holly broke off her relationship with Tate after he ratted out her friend, Doug Williams III (Peyton Meyer), to Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) regarding the stolen necklace.
Tate went against Holly’s wishes and blabbed to Julie, which resulted in Julie kicking Doug out of her house, and he had nowhere to go.
Additionally, Tate and Sophia Choi’s (Rachel Boyd) baby drama was incredibly stressful for Holly, and she told Tate she felt that “love shouldn’t be this hard.”
However, there is speculation that Tate isn’t really the father of Sophia’s baby and that Aaron Greene (Louis Tomeo) may be the father of Sophia’s child.
If that is true, that revelation paves the way for Holly and Tate to reunite. The two of them still care deeply for each other and likely wouldn’t have broken up had it not been for the child Sophia is carrying.
Holly had hoped that when Tate and Sophia found suitable parents to adopt their baby, everything would go back to the way it was prior to Sophia’s pregnancy.

Unfortunately, the adoption fell through, which made Holly wonder if she could endure Tate’s obligations with Sophia and their unborn child much longer.
Speaking with Soap Opera Digest, Leo Howard, who plays Tate Black on the soap, stated, “Holly and Tate will always have a place etched in their hearts for each other, no matter what.”
He added, “Everything that’s happened to them definitely creates a lot of conflict for them to repair. If they were ever going to get back together.”
‘Days Of Our Lives’ Spoilers: Sophia And Doug Are The Main Obstacles Between Holly And Tate
Even after Holly found out Sophia was pregnant, she tried to stay with him, but we have a feeling that when she saw Tate and Sophia looking at the sonogram picture of their baby, it made her realize how she really felt about the situation.
The inclusion of Doug into the mix tossed another monkey wrench into Holly and Tate’s love story. Holly feels drawn to Doug, but she is not yet aware that he had a one-night stand with her friend, Arianna Horton (Marissa Reyes).
Right now, she sees Doug as a safe harbor for her. She can confide in him, and they understand each other. Holly also knows Doug has deep feelings for her. To complicate matters, it’s clear she is attracted to him and his “bad boy” schtick.
When Tate and Holly shacked up together at the Horton family cabin, Tate was late getting there, and while Holly was alone, preparing for her first time with Tate, Doug stopped by to retrieve a photo album Julie had left there.
He read a poem from his late grandfather’s book to Holly and confessed his strong affection for her. When Tate showed up, it was obvious he was jealous.
Unfortunately, since Tate is spending most of his time navigating this baby predicament right now, he can’t face his love for Holly, especially since she’s the one who wanted to break up. However, the actor made it clear that “Tate will always hold out hope for Holly.”
Time will tell if Tate and Holly are endgame and whether they find their way back to each other. We have a feeling this teen love story isn’t quite over yet.
