“How Despicable!”: Gordon Ramsay passed away in a serious traffic accident, the culinary world was shocked md20

Celebrity chef Bobby Flay is giving fans another taste of what’s coming on Bobby on the Beat, his new podcast-hybrid series launching Monday — and this time, he’s stepping straight into Gordon Ramsay’s territory.

The show’s official Instagram account posted a new sneak peek from episode 1 with the caption: “SNEAK PEEK from episode 1: Bobby is finally checking out @gordongram’s restaurant, Hell’s Kitchen, in Las Vegas… but first he is chatting with diners on their way out. 🔥 Tune into the first episode of #BobbyOnTheBeat for the full experience… on Monday, everywhere you get your podcasts (and on YouTube too).”

This moment is a big deal for food TV fans. Ramsay, who has been a FOX fixture since 2004, is a titan of an entirely different network world, known for Hell’s Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares, MasterChef, Hotel Hell and more. Flay has been a Food Network personality for three decades — so watching him step into Ramsay’s flagship restaurant immediately lit up fan speculation.

Fan Reactions: ‘2 of the Best There Is!’

Food lovers flooded the comments with excitement over the clip.

“This is so cool!” one fan wrote. “I enjoyed my meal at Hell’s Kitchen Las Vegas a few years ago and have never forgotten the scallop appetizer, Beef Wellington and sticky toffee pudding. Worth every penny 😍😍😍.”

Another asked, “When is the throwdown between you two???”

Other comments included:

  • “2 of the best there is!”
  • “I NEED YA’LL TO COLLAB ON SOMETHING!”
  • “You keep hinting with little mentions of @gordongram.. I feel something’s gunna finally go down!”
  • “Now @gordongram needs to go to Brasserie B!”

With Bobby on the Beat premiering Monday, fans are more convinced than ever that a Flay–Ramsay moment might finally be within reach — even if the first episode doesn’t reveal it yet.

Flay Gets Diners’ Take on Hell’s Kitchen

In the clip, Flay stands outside the Las Vegas restaurant asking diners about their meals.

“Did you eat here? How was it?” he asks one man, who replies, “Epic.”

Flay admits, “I’ve never eaten at Hell’s Kitchen. I’ve known Gordon forever, but I’m gonna have dinner there tonight. I’m talking to a bunch of people coming out — what’s the consensus? What should I have?”

Suggestions flow fast, with one diner saying, “Scallops, man, definitely scallops. Perfect. The Beef Wellington was good too.”

A young boy gives the most detailed review of the night: “I really like the braised short rib. The mac and cheese was very good, it was very rich. And the mashed potatoes, the smoothest I’ve ever had in my life.”

Flay laughs: “You must watch a lot of cooking shows.”

When Flay asks the child who his favorite TV chef is, the boy answers, “You or Gordon Ramsay.” Flay responds: “Very good answer.”

More diners praise the Beef Wellington, which is Ramsay’s signature dish. One group confirms that Ramsay is not, in fact, at the restaurant that night, and Flay jokes, “I’m substituting for Gordon tonight in Hell’s Kitchen.”

Flay Tries the Scallops, Beef Wellington and More

After heading inside, Flay orders the dishes most recommended by diners: the pan-seared scallops, the Beef Wellington, the braised short ribs and the baked macaroni and cheese.

He also samples dishes Ramsay’s team sends out. Showing the camera a plate, he says, “This is a Hamachi dish with an aji amarillo,” and after tasting it, adds, “Good.”

The scallops earn a “very good”, and he calls the short ribs and potatoes “very tender,” with a “very silky” potato purée.

He saves the “famous Beef Wellington” for last. His verdict: “I have to say, the food is really good. Gordon knows what he’s doing.”

But Flay ultimately names the short ribs the winner of the night.

When the maître d’ asks if the kitchen “hit a home run,” Flay replies, “Grand slam, baby. I’m very proud of Gordon.”

There’s no indication Ramsay appears in the episode — but that hasn’t stopped fans from hoping.
