In-Person Auditions in Pasadena
If you want to audition in person, head to Pasadena, California, on January 12, 2025, where AGT will be holding its in-person auditions. This is your opportunity to perform in front of the casting team and potentially make it to the next step: auditioning in front of the celebrity judges.

Virtual Open Call Auditions
If you can’t make it to Pasadena, there’s no need to worry! AGT is offering two virtual open calls where you can audition from the comfort of your home. The virtual auditions will take place on December 6, 2024, and January 24, 2025.
To participate, visit agtauditions.com to sign up for a virtual audition slot. Once you’ve registered, you’ll receive a confirmation email with your scheduled audition date. You’ll also get an RSVP email before the audition, where you can select your preferred arrival time. The night before your audition, a link will be sent for you to join the virtual call.
Video Audition Submissions
Another great way to audition for AGT without leaving your home is through video submissions. If you prefer to submit your audition ahead of time, you can record and send in a video showcasing your talent. If your video is selected, it could lead to a virtual or in-person meeting with the casting team.
While video auditions don’t require you to participate in an open call, attending an open call can give you the opportunity to impress the producers in person, which could help you stand out during the selection process.
What to Expect from the AGT Audition Process
Once you’ve signed up, AGT’s casting team and producers will review your audition. If they believe your act has potential, you’ll be invited to perform in front of the executive producers, who then decide whether or not you’ll proceed to the AGT judges.
