‘I Can Feel Him!’: Susan Sparks Talk of Stefano’s Return to Days of Our Lives

Stefano DiMera, who is presumed dead, has now resurfaced in the minds of everyone in the latest episode of Days of Our Lives. It all started when Susan revealed that she could feel the presence of Stefano in DiMera’s living room and had previously felt an odd sensation while hugging Marlena. Chad and EJ are surprised that their mother can now sense ghosts. But has Stefano returned? Here are all the details.

Is Stefano DiMera alive on Days of Our Lives?
Susan senses Stefano DiMera’s presence on Days of Our Lives.

Initially, Cat brings up the Stefano topic in front of Rafe, noting that the villain has dodged death before. But Rafe seems less worried and tells her that he might be “older than Methuselah.” While scolding EJ, Susan gets a chill, and she suddenly utters, “Stefano DiMera is alive!” EJ reminds her that Stefano died years ago, but Susan remains unconvinced. She notes that she could feel his presence and has likely become the medium.

EJ is skeptical about Susan’s prediction. But, she reminds EJ to recall if there have been any wrong predictions from her end ever. Later, Chad arrives, and he learns about Stefano too. Both Chad and EJ are entertained and don’t take Susan’s predictions seriously. However, Susan insists she can feel their father’s presence spiritually. She moves away to let her chakras feel the room.

Is Stefano DiMera returning to Days of Our Lives?
The makers teased Stefano’s return through Susan, so there’s a good chance that the character might be involved in upcoming storylines.

Stefano was originally played by the late Joseph Mascolo, and it’s been a decade since his version appeared on the show. When the character was last seen, he was portrayed by Stephen Nichols. While recasting an iconic character could be a tough job for the makers, they could rely on previous methods to bring him back. For instance, they used Nichols’ character, Steve Johnson, to pose as Stevano back then. So, along those lines, a return is possible, even if recasting seems unlikely.
