It’s almost time for the Blue Bloods series finale, and we are not ready at all. Here’s everything you need to know about Blue Bloods season 14, episode 18.
We’ve reached the end of an era as we get ready for the Blue Bloods series finale. Of course, there is not “getting ready” for a series that we all think should have had at least one more season to it. This show deserved to go out with a milestone season.
But here we are. The show was given warning that it would be the final season, allowing for a way to wrap up various storylines. It’s all built to this big series finale, which could end up seeing the loss of someone important to the Reagan family.
There’s a funeral in Blue Bloods season 14, episode 18
The promo for the episode makes it clear that there will be a funeral in the episode. We can see that Officer Badillo isn’t there in person, which could mean that he is the one we’re going to say goodbye to. This is something many fans worried about when the information about the series finale came out.
While the Reagans sit to the side, we can see Nancy Ticotin in the promo, and she is holding the American flag. Ticotin has placed Adriana Badillo in the series, and this could hint that she is there to say goodbye to the fallen officer.
This is the most likely ending to the series. It’s a huge moment, but the show would have had a riot on their hands if one of the Reagan family members had been killed off in the series finale!
There is also the threat on the mayor’s life. He is shot in the promo, and it could arguably mean that the funeral is for him. This is highly unlikely, though, considering Adriana Badillo is at the front of the funeral.
The episode will see all of the gangs in New York join forces, which puts everyone on high alert. All the gangs want their members currently locked up and awaiting trial to be released, and there’s a power in numbers. This is where the threats against the mayor and the police come from.
Check out the promo and synopsis for the Blue Bloods series finale below:
“It’s all hands on deck for the Reagan family, as they race to stop deadly mayhem in the city when the gangs of New York unite together to demand amnesty for the release of their imprisoned members and those awaiting trial.”
