A new story tease for Ghosts season 3 previews Jay’s story. An adaptation of the British series of the same name, developed by Joe Port and Joe Wiseman, the CBS version debuted in 2021. It focuses on married couple Samantha (iZombie star Rose McIver) and Jay (Never Have I Ever and Pitch Perfect alum Utkarsh Ambudkar) and chronicles what happens to their lives when Samantha has a near-death experience and starts to communicate with spirits.
Screen Rant spoke with Asher Grodman about what’s ahead in Ghosts season 3. The actor, who plays the pantsless Trevor, shares that Jay will have an opportunity to see a ghost in the new season. In the quote below, Grodman also reveals that the upcoming episodes will introduce new sets, include more flashbacks, and continue to play with the show’s core group. The quote is included below:
We have some fun things this year where he does have an opportunity to see a ghost. I’ll give you one little teaser.
We have some new sets that we’re introducing, so I think the visual world of the show is just going to get more and more rich. Our designer is incredible, and every time I walk into one of these rooms, an attic or a barn or whatever it is, I’m like, “How did someone make this?” Visually, the story is going to continue to expand. We’re going to do some flashbacks and things you haven’t seen before, introducing characters who are going to come by that you’ve never seen before. And I think we’re going to keep playing with this core eight, seeing different pairings and relationships revealed.
There’s a lot to mine because there are 1000 years of history on this little plot of land, and there are only 20 minutes in every episode to get to it. So, there’s a lot coming down the pipeline.
