Ghosts season 4 will catch us up with all our favorite Woodstone B&B inhabitants, including the series’ central couple, portrayed by Rose McIver and Utkarsh Ambudkar. In the first three seasons of Ghosts, Jay and Samantha are divided in comical ways because Samantha can see ghosts while her husband cannot. The upcoming season will change that. It was revealed at San Diego Comic-Con that Jay will be able to see ghosts in Ghosts season 4 (via Deadline).
Jay will likely experience a near-fatal accident that will leave him seeing ghosts, just like his wife.
This is the most significant reveal the show could have announced, as Jay’s inability to see dead people often holds him back from fully engaging in the narrative. Until now, Ambudkar’s character has had to talk to every ghost in the CBS series through his wife, Samantha. In season 4, Jay will likely experience a near-fatal accident that will leave him seeing ghosts, just like his wife. That said, fans don’t have to worry about Jay, as it can be surmised that he survives, as he lives to test his paranormal abilities.
