The celebs turned out to see Lewis Hamilton clinch his latest racing title
Jeremy Clarkson took some time out from filming to take in the action at the British Grand Prix.
The Top Gear and Grand Tour star has been working on the fourth series of his Amazon Prime series Clarkson’s Farm. But he made sure he was at Silverstone to see Formula 1 legend Lewis Hamilton win the race for the ninth time.
Clarkson attended the glitzy race with his partner Lisa Hogan, putting his arm around her as the pair posed for snaps.
But he was also snapped catching up with fellow celeb Gordon Ramsay. The celebrity chef is known to be a fan of motor-racing and is often seen at Formula 1 events. This time he went with his 24-year-old daughter Holly, one of his six children with his wife Tana.
Other stars in the crowd included Phillip Schofield, making a rare public appearance.
The star used to host This Morning but left last year amid a scandal that saw him admitting to having an “unwise but not illegal” affair with a younger ITV staff member. Since then he has kept a low profile and has not been on TV, but at the weekend he flew in to the Grand Prix by helicopter.
Adding some Hollywood glamour was Brad Pitt, who was with his girlfriend Ines De Ramon. The actor is currently filming a movie set in the glamorous world of car racing.
Entitled F1, the film is being co-produced by Hamilton and follows a veteran driver, who will be played by Pitt, as he returns to the sport. He drives for the fictional APX GP team and the star has been seen in racing clothes emblazoned with that logo during filming.
Some scenes have already been shot at the Silverstone circuit in Northamptonshire and the film is expected to be unveiled next year.
Javier Bardem, who also stars in F1, joined his co-star at the Grand Prix. The actor was snapped looking smart in a grey suit as Hamilton clinched his latest victory.
Bardem – who Pitt previously worked with in the 2013 film The Counsellor – plays a Formula 1 team owner in F1. He is friends with Pitt’s character Sonny Hayes, and encourages him to come out of retirement to help another driver.
Former Spice Girl Geri Horner was photographed with her children as she joined her husband Christian Horner, who is team principal of the Red Bull Formula 1 team.
Images showed her smiling in a cricket jumper as she posed alongside Christian and their seven-year-old son Montague, and Bluebell, her 17-year-old daughter with former flame Sacha Gervasi.
Saturdays star Mollie King was there, hand in hand with her partner Stuart Broad. The singer posted a video on Instagram telling of her excitement as she took in the action.
“We are in McLaren pits and I am trying to be cool about it and I am failing miserably,” she told fans in a clip on her Instagram Story. “I am having like the best day ever.”
Actor and comedian Rowan Atkinson was also among the starry crowd, and was seen clutching an umbrella as it started to pour while he was trackside.
He was interviewed by Sky Sports, and the reporter asked what his famous character Mr Bean would make of Formula 1.
