Jeremy Clarkson fan reveals ‘insane’ time it takes to queue for Diddly Squat Farm Shop

A TikTok user has shared their experience of queuing to enter Jeremy Clarkson’s Diddly Squat Farm Shop, which has been swarmed by fans of the Amazon Prime TV show

A TikTok user has revealed just how long the queue to get inside Jeremy Clarkson’s farm shop is.

The shop was opened in Chadlington, Chipping Norton, back in 2020 and attracts visitors from across the country due to the popularity of Clarkson’s Amazon Prime TV show ‘Clarkson’s Farm’.

Fans of the Grand Tour presenter who visit the farm don’t just aim to catch a personal sighting of Clarkson, but also take the opportunity to buy produce sourced directly from his farmland.

In a video recently shared on TikTok, spectators were seen waiting with patience for their turn to visit the bustling farm shop. TikTok user meggdrew16 used her farm visit as an experiment to find out just how long it takes to get to the front of the queue.
Equipped with the timer on her phone, she showcased “how long we queued to get into” the establishment. The video started with an image of the back of the line, and then jumped forward 22 minutes to show it “slowly moving”.

After 35 minutes a photograph of a sign was shown that told people there would be another 45 minutes of waiting to go. Another image also showed there were “no dogs allowed”, and that Diddly Squat was cash only.
The shop was not in sight after 58 minutes, but at the one hour and 16 minutes mark the TikTok user confirmed they could “see” it. It would take another 14 minutes to make it to the front of the queue, meaning they waited around one hour and 30 minutes in total.

Once inside, they were seen “securing the goods” and left the farm with a less-than ideal bank balance. The TikTok ended with meggdrew16 writing: “An hour and a half and an empty bank account later.”

Other TikTok users weren’t impressed with the wait. One wrote: “Is it really worth a 90 minute queue for a little farm shop?” Another added: “Absolutely insane when a local farm shop sells the same produce (if not better) with no queue.” A third wrote: “What day did you go? I want to go on a Friday in a couple of weeks but that queue is just a joke?”
