Jeremy Clarkson told fans ‘it’s going to be a rough year’ as he shared the latest photos from his Diddly Squat Farm in the Cotswolds
Jeremy Clarkson has issued a worrying update on the future of Clarkson’s Farm.
The Amazon Prime series – which is one of the platform’s most watched shows ever – follows the 64-year-old former Top Gear presenter and his sidekick Kaleb Cooper as he attempts to run Diddly Squat Farm in posh Chipping Norton in the Cotswolds.
But Clarkson and his team, who have previously navigated anger from the council and locals after fans descended on the area to visit his farm shop and the death of his beloved pigs, have been dealt another blow.
Britons up and down the country are already fuming this summer is turning out to be a washout in what has been dubbed the ‘wettest summer ever’ in the UK – and could be the worst for 100 years. But spare a thought for farmers whose crops may be damaged by the constant downpours.
Clarkson is one of them and took to Instagram to share an aerial photo of Diddly Squat Farm showing how the rain has already ruined some of this year’s plans, meaning the farm is at risk of not producing any profitable crops. He told fans: “It’s going to be a rough year. All that seed sowed, drowned with the constant rain.”
