Justin Hartley teases potential ‘This Is Us’ reunions in ‘Tracker’ Season 2

In the movie ‘Tracker,’ Justin Hartley plays survivalist Colter Shaw, who traverses America in search of people who have vanished in exchange for cash rewards.

Regarding the success of the show, Hartley, 47, said that it’s a relief. When you create something with your own taste profile and put it out there with all your heart, you hope that other people will find it appealing. Thus, it’s been incredibly great, as quoted in a report by The New York Post.

Although Colter works alone, he is supported by a distant team that consists of his tech guy Bobby (Eric Graise), Teddi (Robin Weigert), Velma (Abby McEnany), and Reenie (Fiona Rene). He and his brother Russell Shaw’s (Jensen Ackles) relationship is complex.

Even though the role hadn’t been cast yet, we always planned for Russell Shaw to appear on the show. Hartley said that Jensen was trying to watch the game, but there were too many ‘Tracker’ commercials for him to handle. He just texted him to get his ugly mug off his screen.

Justin Hartley and his long-time friend Jensen Ackles will be working together in Season 2 of the show ‘Tracker.’ Ackles will appear in the second episode, with the extent of his involvement depending on logistics and story.

Hartley’s wife, Sofia Pernas, will also be returning for Season 2. Hartley expressed excitement about working with his wife, praising her talent and their fun dynamic on set.

Season 2 will delve into an old case that haunts Hartley’s character, Colter, shedding light on his backstory. Despite the intense nature of the show, Hartley emphasized the fun atmosphere on set.

While Hartley expressed openness to having former ‘This Is Us’ co-stars join ‘Tracker,’ he stressed the need for it to fit organically into the storyline. He also emphasized the strong bond among the ‘This Is Us’ cast, highlighting their close relationship.
