Justin Hartley’s Tracker Is Ready for Super Bowl Sunday Action — 2024 FIRST LOOK (Exclusive)
Tracker is ready to tackle Super Bowl Sunday, and TVLine’s #2024FirstLook series continues with a fresh batch of photos from the first episode of CBS’ new midseason series.
Based on the bestselling novel The Never Game by Jeffery Deaver, Tracker stars Justin Hartley as Colter Shaw, a lone-wolf survivalist who roams the country as a “reward seeker,” using his expert tracking skills to help private citizens and law enforcement solve all manner of mysteries — and while contending with his own fractured family.
This Is Us alum Hartley also serves as an executive producer on the series.
The Tracker cast also includes Robin Weigert (Big Little Lies, Sons of Anarchy) as Teddi, one half of the couple that runs Colter’s “back end,” and Abby McEnany (Work in Progress) as Velma, Teddi’s wife and business partner.
Additionally, Eric Graise (Step Up: High Water) plays Luther, a brilliant computer scientist and Colter’s reliable sparring partner, and Fiona Rene (Fire Country) plays Reenie, a lawyer who wants to be mad at Colter for a previous, mutual lapse in judgment… but against her better judgment continues to represent him.
Though Mary McDonnell (Major Crimes, The Fall of the House of Usher) was previously announced to be playing Colter’s mother, Mary Dove Shaw, TVLine has learned that she is no longer attached to the series.
Tracker will kick off its freshman run on Sunday, Feb. 11 around 10/9c, following CBS’ coverage of Super Bowl 58 between the… ha, just seeing if you were paying attention. (Sources are unable to confirm at this time who will be playing.) The series will then settle into its regular time slot the following Sunday, Feb. 18 at 9 pm, hammocked between The Equalizer and CSI: Vegas.
In addition to Hartley, Ken Olin, Ben H. Winters and Hilary Weisman Graham serve as executive producers on Tracker, and Olin directed the pilot from a script written by Winters.
