Tracker season 3 has only just started, but Justin Hartley is already thrilled with how fans are receiving the new installment.
The CBS drama returned to TV in October, with fans curious about Colter Shaw’s assignments each week. The show has been a hit for the network since its February 2024 premiere, and early season-3 numbers suggest that momentum is still building.
A report from Variety on November 3 indicated that the Tracker season 3 premiere episode “reached 12.97 million viewers … up 17% from the [October 2024] season 2 premiere.” Additionally, the outlet noted Tracker was “one of four CBS shows to make the top 5 so far this fall, according to the most recent multi-platform 7-day viewing chart for the 2025-2026 broadcast season.” In other words: The show remains a smash hit!
Shortly after this news broke, Justin, who co-executive produces the show and stars as Colter, shared a heartfelt Instagram message about the show’s path ahead.
“Happy to see you all enjoy watching as much as we enjoy making this show,” he wrote. “Thank you! We have a bunch more story to tell.”
When fans saw Justin thank viewers for Tracker‘s success, they celebrated with him online.
“Does this mean we will get season 4 👀?” one person wrote in the comments. “🥂Congratulations Justin 🥂 Love the show!” another exclaimed. “I love Tracker! Really enjoy watching it every week,” a different follower added.
While it’s unclear whether CBS will renew Tracker for season 4, the show’s strong ratings give the network plenty to think about. And with a new episode set to premiere on November 9, there’s clearly more to explore with Colter and his crew.
Is it Sunday yet?!
