TV One is kicking off the new season of their hit series, “Uncensored,” with actor Kadeem Hardison.
Many of us have come to know and love Kadeem for his role as “Dwayne Wayne” in “A Different World.”
The series, which was a spinoff of “The Cosby Show,” initially centered on Denise Huxtable (played by Lisa Bonet) and the life of students at Hillman College, a fictional historically black college in Virginia.
In a newly released teaser, Kadeem recalls how his off-screen romance with Cree Summer began.
Cree also starred in “A Different World” as “Freddie Brooks.”
In the clip, he says, “Cree and I…from the time we met we became best friends.”
“One night we went out and then we started kissing and the next thing you know she was telling me she’s in love with me.”
Things were a little tricky because Jasmine Guy, who starred in “A Different World” as “Whitley Gilbert,” was Kadeem’s on-screen love interest.
Kadeem admitted, “And then I had to pretend to be in love with Jasmine while being in love with Cree.”
