There’s nothing like starting your week with the Chicago P.D. cast.
On December 13, Patrick John Flueger (Ruzek) shared an Instagram carousel filled with plenty of birthday love, including an adorable video of co-star LaRoyce Hawkins (Atwater) and the entire series’ cast and crew serenading Flueger with a rousing rendition of “For He’s a Jolly Good Fellow.”
Flueger, who celebrated his 42nd birthday on December 10, was the man of honor as One Chicago’s finest showered him with love. Hawkins even made sure the final notes of the tune were held for as long as possible by the group because that’s what friends are for.
“Fantastic Cast, Crew & Fans!!! Incredible Girl, Family & Friends!!!! Gratitude is a daily goal. A task made easy…by the people in my life 🙂 Thank you Y’all 🙏🏼,” Flueger captioned.
Flueger included an aerial selfie in his Instagram post of himself, Hawkins, Benjamin Levy Aguilar, and his on-screen wife, Marina Squerciati, posing with his birthday cake adorned with a photo of the star and the words “Happy Birthday Paddy.”
The carousel gave fans another glimpse into what Flueger has been up to lately. On November 23, the star shared photos of a recent night out with his real-life girlfriend, Reem Amara, and Squerciati as they attended a performance at the Lyric Opera of Chicago.
Flueger he hasn’t appeared in an episode since Season 13, Episode 5’s “Miami,” but fans will definitely see him again once the show returns from its midseason hiatus in January.
