Sharing behind the scenes moments with Mariska, Christopher Meloni and other cast members, the post revealed that the original series Law and Order and the spin-off Law and Order: Organized Crime got picked up as well.

While Mariska didn’t explicitly share her excitement on the monumental season renewal, she did make a reflection post on her time working on the show. Uploading a throwback photo on Instagram, she expressed how grateful she is to be in her position today.

Reacting to Mariska’s post, some couldn’t help feeling emotional about having to say goodbye to their favorite series for the summer while also looking ahead at the exciting future.
