Aunt Becky will be back. Lori Loughlin made it official today on Good Morning America: She’ll return as Aunt Becky for Fuller House, the Full House sequel that premieres on Netflix next year.
“I’m very excited,” said Loughlin. “Officially I am going to be a part of the reboot, or spinoff, Fuller House.”
John Stamos, the erstwhile Uncle Jesse, is producing Fuller House, which will star Full House regulars Candice Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweeten and Andrea Barber, with Stamos and Dave Coulier in guest spots. Warner Bros. first announced its interest in reviving the series in August, and it was confirmed last month.
The original sitcom ran from 1987-95 on ABC and introduced the world to the twin tots who would grow up to become direct-to-video stars then fashion moguls. The Olsens were less than a year old when Full House launched, and they shared the Michelle role on the series for its entire 193-episode run.
