Everybody Loves Raymond was hugely popular when it aired on CBS in the late 90s and early 00s. The sitcom was about an Italian American man and his family living in Long Island, NY, not far from his overbearing and stereotypically Italian parents and his older brother, still living at home with them.
The show covered the daily happening of Raymond’s life as a sportswriter, along with his opinionated wife Debra and their three young children. His mother would often meddle in their life (and Ray would let her) and passively-aggressively insult Debra. And his brother would constantly remind everyone that Raymond was the favorite son. The show ended in 2005 after nine seasons. Where is everyone from the cast today?
Madylin Sweeten (Ally Barone)
Playing one of the three Barone children on the series (along with her real-life twin brothers), Sweeten has gone on to appear in small roles since the series ended.
Now 28, her most notable credits since 2005 include working as a sketch actor on the series TMI Hollywood, and executive producing and co-writing a 2014 short called Wedding Frisk. She most recently had minor roles in Grey’s Anatomy and Lucifer.
Madylin Sweeten portrayed “Ally Barone,” Debra and Ray Barone’s eldest and only daughter on the show. Her warm-heartedness and selfless nature blended well with her occasional stubbornness. She was loved and doted on by everyone in her family, including her on-screen younger twin brothers, Geoffrey and Michael, who happen to be her real-life brothers.
Sweeten also performed in theater regularly, where she crossed paths with her husband. However, little is known about the duo still being together.
Sweeten, who will celebrate her 32nd birthday in June 2023, graduated with an interior design degree from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. After “Everybody Loves Raymond,” she took up various other roles, and starred in “Grey’s Anatomy,” “Lucifer,” and “TMI Hollywood.”
