
The network renewed three of its Chicago shows for the 2024-2025 season, with Chicago Fire coming back with Season 14, Chicago P.D. with Season 13, and Chicago Med returning with Season 11. An official premiere date has yet to be announced, but Chi-Hards can anticipate new episodes from all three series topremiere in the fall of 2025.
Viewers at least have the season finales of Chicago Fire Season 13, Chicago Med Season 10, and Chicago P.D. Season 12 to look forward to as they air on Wednesday, May 21, on NBC before it goes on summer hiatus.

Viewers at home reacted to the news of their favorite franchise being renewed for another season. One person on X, formerly known as Twitter, wrote: “#OneChicago shows all 3 shows are renewed [three partying face emojis].” Another person posted: “#OneChicago has been renewed!!!! I’m sooo excited!!!”
A third person expressed: “OneChicago getting renewed Let’s GOOO, Finally!! I’m This close to all my shows being renewed. I just need SVU to get announced next. So let’s make this happen now NBC….” A fourth wrote: “YESSSSS ONE CHICAGO GOT RENEWED!!!” with an “I’ll drink to that” gif.
Each series in the franchise focuses on something different. Chicago Fire follows firefighters and paramedics, while Chicago Med centers on hospital staff, and P.D. deals with police officers and the city’s police department. Despite each series of the “One Chicago” franchise being different, they come together and film crossovers.
This comes after some shows like “Grosse Pointe Garden Society,” “The Hunting Party,” “The Irrational,” “Lopez vs. Lopez,” “Night Court,” and “Suits LA” are in question for a renewal.

The first of the “One Chicago” series to be released was Chicago Fire, which premiered in 2012 and stars Jesse Spencer as Matthew Casey, Taylor Kinney as Kelly Severide, Kara Killmer as Sylvie Brett, Monica Raymund as Gabriela Dawson, and others.
It was then followed by Chicago P.D. in 2013, which stars Marina Squerciati as Kim Burgess, Jesse Lee Soffer as Jay Halstead, Sophia Bush as Erin Lindsay, and others. Chicago Med was then released in 2015, which stars Marlyne Barrett as Maggie Lockwood, Yaya DaCosta as April Sexton, Nick Gehlfuss as Dr. Will Halstead, Brian Tee as Dr. Ethan Choi and others.
