Young Sheldon season 7, episode 9 clip shows Mandy offering Georgie a way to change one of his defining traits because of her mother’s criticism.
Mandy offers Georgie a way to change one of his signature traits in a new Young Sheldon season 7, episode 9 clip. Things are still going well for the newlyweds despite facing some hurdles at home since coming back from their honeymoon. As Young Sheldon fixed its Meemaw and Sheldon plot hole by teaming them up again, Connie’s business partners moved to the McAllisters while the Coopers dealt with a plumbing issue at home. That said, the couple is facing a tough road ahead, especially with Audrey determined to break them apart.
In a new Young Sheldon season 7, episode 9, “A Fancy Article and a Scholarship for a Baby,” clip, Mandy offers a way for Georgie to get rid of his Texan accent. Check out the video from the official Young Sheldon YouTube channel below:
In the Young Sheldon season 7 video, Georgie brings up Audrey’s comment about the way he speaks. Mandy initially tells him that it’s okay, until he adds that her mom is afraid that Baby Cece will talk like him. Eventually, Mandy suggests that Georgie take classes to get rid of his accent.
Will Georgie Ever Get Rid Of His Texan Accent?
Mandy Can Convince Georgie To Actively Change The Way He Speaks.
Unfortunately for Audrey, Georgie will never lose his Texan accent. When he appeared in The Big Bang Theory for Sheldon and Amy’s wedding, he still talked the way he does in Young Sheldon, albeit a little bit more formally. His accent remained so thick that Amy even asked her then-groom-to-be if he could also talk like that. As he explained early on in the prequel, however, Sheldon worked hard to get rid of it, hence why neither Iain Armitage nor Jim Parsons’ version of the character talks the way his brother does.
The impact that Georgie will have on his daughter will be largely based on how much time he will spend with her before he and Mandy split up, as revealed in The Big Bang Theory canon.
Whether Baby Cece ends up talking like his dad is unclear at this point. Her existence was never mentioned in The Big Bang Theory, although Sheldon did mention his brother having a first wife, which is Mandy. The impact that Georgie will have on his daughter will be largely based on how much time he will spend with her before he and Mandy split up, as revealed in The Big Bang Theory canon. That won’t be certain until the upcoming Young Sheldon sequel series that will tackle Georgie and Mandy’s life as parents.
Before they spearhead their own series, Young Sheldon season 7 villainizes Georgie and Mandy for not showing any concern towards Meemaw after she was busted. Since Connie won’t be in their series as a regular, it’s unlikely that they can make up for it. Perhaps that’s also the reason why, despite everything Georgie and Meemaw went through in recent Young Sheldon seasons, they didn’t seem to be close anymore when they made their respective appearances in The Big Bang Theory.
