After Johnny (Carson Boatman) was acquitted on Days of Our Lives, his dad EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) is likely heaving a sigh of relief. Someone with mixed reactions? Probably Johnny’s Aunt Belle (Martha Madison), who was also prosecuting her nephew; EJ humiliated in the courtroom by revealing her ethical conflict. Understandably, EJ’s actions in the courtroom did not sit well with Belle, with whom he was involved, but is there a chance that they could reconcile?
Madison chatted with Soaps.com about the possibility of the lawyers reconciling outside of the courtroom. The final straw was the way he used her, she explained:
[Belle was OK] with all of these events that happened in years past, but I think for her, trust is everything, and she can’t trust him. So, that’s it for her.
