LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘MasterChef: Generations’ Season 14 contestant Rebecka Evans recently gave a tough competition to harsh critic Gordon Ramsay during her auditions. She told the Fox show judge ‘ off’ and claimed she wasn’t afraid of him.
Rebecka competed in the Fox show as a part of the Baby Boomer and faced Gordon, who is known for his brutal feedback and criticism. However, Aarón Sánchez warned Rebecka about what happens when Gordon takes out his infamous pencil that gets tucked behind his ear when he gives chefs feedback.
However, Aaron’s warning didn’t bother the contestant instead, she slammed back, “I’m not afraid of anybody.” Rebecka added, “I got no fear. I’m gonna have some fun.” The cooking show contestant later noted that she was “ready” for Gordon’s tough side adding, “He has not seen a mother with a wooden spoon.” Rebecka then yelled at Gordon to ” off”. However, the FOX show judge didn’t take the comment seriously and walked away with a smile.
‘MasterChef: Generations’ Season 14 contestant Rebecka Evans is a 63-year-old food blogger from Castle Rock, Colorado. She is a mother of five and has eight grandkids. She is an award-winning competitive cook who loves creating recipes, competing in cooking challenges, and mastering the art of food photography.
Rebecka previously competed in Food Network’s ‘Clash of the Grandmas’ and ended up winning the show and a whopping cash prize of $10,000. Besides this, she has won around 11 cooking shows and competitions. She wanted to continue her winning streak and auditioned for’MasterChef: Generations’ Season 14. She also loves opera.
Rebecka Evans came a step closer to living her own dreams and goals. The Fox show judges awarded the first apron of the episode to Rebecka and moved her ahead in the competition. She prepared deep-fried pork chop with mashed potatoes, Brussels hash and Jalapeno White Gravy.
Gordon Ramsay noted, “Presentation-wise, it does look a bit dated.” He added, “It’s like you dressed this dish in the dark.” However, he loved the flavor and complimented that the pork was cooked beautifully. Aarón Sánchez said that the dish was “giving me a hug.” Lidia Bastianich called the dish “really tasty” with her son Joe adding, “exceptional.”
