Wolf Entertainment revealed new posters on September 10, featuring the returning casts of both “Law & Order” (Season 24) and “Law & Order: SVU” (Season 26), set to premiere back-to-back on Thursday, October 3, at 8/7c and 9/8c. The third series, “Organized Crime,” has moved to Peacock for its fifth season.
The “Law & Order” poster, tagged with “Truth matters,” shows the full cast, including Odelya Halevi (Assistant District Attorney Samantha Maroun), Mehcad Brooks (Detective Jalen Shaw), Tony Goldwyn (District Attorney Nicholas Baxter), Hugh Dancy (Assistant District Attorney Nolan Price), Reid Scott (Detective Vincent Riley), and newcomer Maura Tierney as Lieutenant Jessica Brady. Tierney joins the cast following Camryn Manheim’s (Lieutenant Kate Dixon) unexpected departure at the end of Season 23, which will be addressed in the Season 24 premiere.
Meanwhile, “Law & Order: SVU” is promoting “Hope in the Darkness” with a poster that highlights Mariska Hargitay, who has portrayed Olivia Benson from detective to captain over 26 seasons. The rest of the cast for Season 26 includes Ice-T (Sergeant Odafin “Fin” Tutuola), Peter Scanavino (ADA Dominick “Sonny” Carisi), Octavio Pisano (Detective Joe Velasco), Kevin Kane (Detective Terry Bruno), and new detective Juliana Aidén Martinez. Fans will also see Kelli Giddish return for multiple episodes as Amanda Rollins, who is taking on a new role with the NYPD.
