Meet the Cast of ‘The Good Doctor’
Here’s everything you need to know about the stars of the hit ABC drama.
ABC’s newest medical drama, The Good Doctor, was renewed for a second season after the series brought in impressive ratings on the network with its first 18 episodes. The hit show stars Freddie Highmore as Dr. Shaun Murphy, a young surgeon with autism and savant-syndrome who joins the staff at the prestigious San Jose St. Bonaventure Hospital. Murphy is unable to connect personally with his peers, patients, and coworkers—but with his brilliant mind and unusual ways of thinking, he quickly proves that he’s a valuable member of the hospital’s surgical team.
Season 2 will bring back most of the original cast, with one notable character missing: Entertainment Weekly confirmed that Chuku Modu, the actor who played Dr. Jared Kalu, will not be returning.
