Morocco Cuisine Voted World’s Best

Marrakesh – The renowned chef Gordon Ramsay revealed that Instagram voters have crowned Moroccan cuisine as the best in the world, garnering over 2.5 million votes from netizens.

This international competition, hosted by the popular Instagram page Pubity – which boasts nearly 37 million followers – showcased the global love for Morocco’s culinary delights.

In a thrilling 60% to 40% showdown, fans crowned Moroccan food the “best cuisine in the world,” Ramsay announced, with Mexico coming in as a close runner-up.

Ramsay lauded the richness and diversity of Moroccan flavors, emphasizing that this choice reflects a global appreciation for the cuisine.

With its captivating spices and iconic dishes like tagine, couscous, harira, pastilla, seffa, and rfissa, Moroccan cuisine has won over the palates of gourmets worldwide.

Reflecting on his experiences in the Atlas Mountains of Morocco, Ramsay fondly recalled his encounters with the Amazigh people and his time preparing chicken rfissa, a dish he holds dear as one of his all-time favorites.

During his travels, Gordon Ramsay unraveled the mysteries of Moroccan cuisine and expressed admiration for the passion and talent of Moroccan cooks.

This victory is a well-deserved accolade for Moroccan chefs and the North African country’s culinary heritage.

Moroccans across the internet are joyous about the results, beaming with pride and flooding the comments section with the red flag emoji, painting it as vibrant as the country’s national flag.
