NBC has unveiled its full fall 2025-2026 schedule, so now we know a lot about what’s ahead for next season.
Two of the network’s freshman comedies got early renewals, and it is the home for many tried-and-true procedural dramas that aren’t going anywhere anytime soon.
Here’s a look at everything we know about NBC’s fall 2025-2026 TV plans.
Renewed NBC Shows
NBC has renewed Happy’s Place, its new Reba McEntire-led family comedy series, for a second season. It also gave a Season 2 order to the hospital workplace comedy St. Denis Medical. Though The Voice has not been officially renewed for 2025, the network has already announced Snoop Dogg will rejoin the coaches chair for Season 28. Also, all three shows in the One Chicago universe — Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, and Chicago P.D. — will return. And it’ll continue to be a Dick Wolf party over at NBC because Law & Order and Law & Order SVU. Most recently, NBC announced renewals for Brilliant Minds and The Hunting Party. Saturday Night Live was also renewed.
Canceled NBC Shows
NBC’s Lopez vs. Lopez will not get another season, and Night Court will not return for Season 4. Also canceled by NBC are dramas The Irrational, Found, Grosse Pointe Garden Society, and Suits L.A.
New NBC Shows
NBC has announced several new shows for the fall season.
On Brand With Jimmy Fallon will feature the title late-night host at the center and, “follows what happens when Jimmy Fallon starts a premier marketing agency and fills it with the most creative, clever and competitive go-getters he can find.”
Also new is Surviving Earth, an eight-episode series that was first put into the works in 2022 and is reportedly still in the works; the show would use digital technology to showcase the prehistoric era of the world.
On the scripted side, NBC announced a new comedy called The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins, starring Tracy Morgan, Daniel Radcliffe, Erika Alexander, Bobby Moynihan, Precious Way, and Jalyn Hall. The description for the new show reads simply, “A disgraced former football player is on a mission to rehabilitate his image.”
