The countdown is officially on to the One Chicago reunion that has been years in the making! Halstead and Upton are making their triumphant returns, and we finally have photos!
Since NBC dropped the news that Jesse Lee Soffer and Tracy Spiridakos would be reprising their fan-favorite characters for the first time since each actor left Chicago PD seasons ago, fans have been foaming at the mouth for any and all information about their joint comeback in the 2026 edition of the semi-annual One Chicago crossover event.
We have seen Halstead and Upton back in action in a limited capacity in the trailers for the three-episode crossover, but we’re now getting a better look at what they will be getting up to across the event. NBC finally released photos from all three parts of “The Reckoning,” teasing Upstead’s appearances in Chicago Fire, Chicago Med, and Chicago PD.
Back at their old stomping grounds, Soffer and Spiridakos appear in a photo from Chicago PD’s episode from the event, the third and final episode, reuniting with former co-stars and new faces to the series. Halstead and Upton team up once again with Voight (Jason Beghe), Burgess (Marina Squerciati), and Atwater (LaRoyce Hawkins). While Upton worked with Torres (Benjamin Levy Aguilar), it’s both Upton and Halstead’s first time meeting Imani (Arienne Mandi).
Our next Upstead crossover tease comes from Chicago Med, as Lenox seemingly patches up a minor head wound Upton has sustained during the high-stakes case. She sits on the edge of a firetruck as Lenox works her magic and Halstead looks on close by. In other photos from the crossover, a light scratch on Upton’s forehead can be seen, but we’ll have to wait and see how she gets it!
