After NCIS: Los Angeles came to an end earlier this year, Kensi Blye star Daniela Ruah has some spare time on her hands and she’s been using it to achieve some pretty big goals.
Daniela Ruah has been making some big moves since waving goodbye to her NCIS: Los Angeles character, Kensi Blye, both in her career and personally.
Over the weekend 39 year-old-actress took part in a grueling Triathlon, that saw her swim, run and cycle for a great cause.
She was also joined by her NCIS co-star Caleb Castille, who starred as Devin Rountree in the hit CBS series.
Daniela took to her Instagram to share some behind-the-scenes clips and pictures of her preparing and completing the endurance multisport race.
The first few clips saw Daniela on her way to the first race as she posed for some selfies with some of her fellow triathlon competitors.
Another moment saw Daniela give Caleb, who was also taking part in the sporting event, some words of encouragement as she exclaimed: “You’re going to be amazing!”
Daniela then showed the moment she completed the first race, which was a lengthy swim in the ocean.
She slowly jogged up to the finish line and pumped her fists in the air as onlookers cheered her on.
The actress also gave her 1.1 million Instagram followers a glimpse into her other races and showed her finally reaching the end, where she celebrated with her friends and family.
Daniela gave some further context behind the wholesome clip in her caption, which she began: “Sunday was amazing! Not only did I achieve a huge goal (look mom I did it!) but I did it alongside wonderful friends.
