NCIS season 23 is almost here … and Wilmer Valderrama wants to get us all excited for what’s to come.
Fans of the hit drama are well aware that season 23 will begin airing new episodes on Tuesday, October 14, 2025 on CBS. Ahead of the first episode of the season premiering, though, Wilmer (who plays Nick Torres) decided he’d give folks a sneak peek at what the new season will look like.
Posting a link to the official NCIS season 23 on Instagram, folks got to see the NCIS team prepare themselves for new cases occurring this time around. Featuring appearances from Katrina Law (who plays Jessica Knight), Diona Reasonover (who plays Kasie Hines), Sean Murray (who plays Timothy McGee), and more, Wilmer made sure to tease how this was only the beginning for what can only be an exciting new installment.
“NCIS comes home to Tuesdays,” he wrote alongside the video in the caption on September 23. “Season 23 premieres October 14 at 8pm! On @cbstv!”
As soon as folks realized Wilmer gave a first taste of NCIS season 23, they couldn’t stop screaming their excitement about it.
“CAN’T WAIT TO FLIP THE TABLE WITH YOU GUYS THIS SEASON🔥,” one person shouted in the comments. “Oh looks soooo good 😍🔥❤️ my team is back,” another exclaimed. “Feels like forever, I need my NCIS ❤️❤️❤️❤️🔥🔥,” a different follower added.
We so agree—this definitely looks like something we’ll want to tune into when NCIS returns this fall! And if the first look at season 23 wasn’t enough, the show has already teased a crossover fans will need to look out for later this season.
As the show shared on Instagram on September 4, NCIS will team up with the folks on NCIS: Origins for an episode that’ll span through the decades on both shows.
“It’s the case that just keeps coming back,” the caption read at the time. “The NCIS: Origins x NCIS crossover event comes to you this Veterans Day on CBS 👏👏👏.”
Well, it looks like we have a lot to look forward to from the NCIS universe this fall!
