NCIS LA co-star makes jibe as Daniela Ruah takes on new role ‘I’m taking it personally!’

NCIS Los Angeles came back for its 13th season in October which saw the beginning of a new era as Nell Jones (played by Renee Felice Smith) and Eric Beale (Barrett Foa) went off into the sunset together. The CBS drama premiered its latest series with the rest of the main cast adjusting to the changes with Kensi Blye (Daniela Ruah) and Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) taking the next steps to start a family. But actress Ruah has also been playing a key role in bringing the show to life.

Ruah has starred as Agent Kensi Blye since the very beginning of NCIS Los Angeles on CBS.

But she has since taken more of an interest in the creative process of the series.NCIS LA co-star jibes at Daniela Ruah 'Now I'm taking it personally!' | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV | Express.co.uk

Earlier this year, it was revealed that the actress would be directing an episode of NCIS LA in season 13.

But it looks like this isn’t a one-time thing as the 38-year-old once again took to Instagram to share some good news.

She posted a picture of herself next to a director’s chair with her name on the back.

The caption reads: “Back at it y’all…” and features the hashtag “#1314”, indicating that she is also directing the 14th episode of series 13.

While Ruah was greeted by plenty of congratulatory messages, there was one that stood out from an NCIS LA co-star.

Actor Erik Palladino has been in and out of NCIS LA for nine years as CIA officer Vostanik Sabatino.

He was last seen in season nine, episode 12, A Fait Accompli, which was released on CBS in January 2021.

While it isn’t known what the instalment will be about, Palladino will not be starring in Ruah’s directed episode.

This was the perfect chance for the 53-year-old actor to jokingly jib at his co-star

Replying to Ruah’s Instagram post, Palladino said: “Again, AGAIN no Sabatino!!!

“Now I am taking it personally! With that said, congrats.”

Some of Ruah’s followers are also keen to see Palladino’s character return to the small screen.

One posted: “I love Sabatino! Never can get enough of him!”

While another commented: “After your finish, the current gig in Vancouver, hope that Sabatino will be in some episodes that will film in early 2022! Love when you/he are on the show!Sorry for Your Loss (2021)

Sadly for fans, there has been a delay in the show airing its latest episode.

NCIS Los Angeles is currently on its midseason hiatus and hasn’t been seen since Sunday, November 21.

But there is no need to worry as the crime procedural will be returning in the new year.
