Fans took to social media to express their frustration over the pair’s absence. One viewer lamented, “This season is getting really frustrating. Every week, half the cast seems to be missing. And when they are there, the regular teams are not working together. What is going on?” Another fan added, “It’s a good episode, but leaving out main characters each week is getting old. The newer characters’ stories are weak. As a fan from episode one, missing main characters is detrimental.”
Despite the outcry, there’s no indication that Ruah or Olsen are leaving the show. Marty Deeks appears in the promotional video for the next episode, so fans can expect his return soon. Daniela Ruah has also been busy with behind-the-scenes work, having directed some episodes for Season 13.
