As “NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 9 nears its premiere on October 1, more details about it are being released. For one, Callen’s (Chris O’Donnell) love interest will be back. And, for fans who are afraid that Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) will be cut from the team, here’s the big news. He will be seen in episode 2 with the team based on recently released pictures.
EP R. Scott Gemmill revealed that Anna Kolchek (Bar Paly), the blonde cop turned security specialist will work at the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives in one of the upcoming episodes reports TV Line. It is being speculated that she will soon meet up with Callen to continue where they left off in the sixth season. This time, he may finally get the courage to take their flirtation into the next level.
As everybody knows by now, the team will have a new boss in “NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 9 and Gemmill says it won’t be a fun experience. For one, Executive Assistant Director Shay Mosley (Nia Long) has strong feelings against agents dating in the workplace. This does not good look for the newly engaged Deeks and Kensi (Daniela Ruah).
It also seems that the new boss will be feeling antagonistic towards Deeks since she feels that he is too cozy inside the NCIS headquarters reports Cartermatt. Gemmill teased that, in fact, Mosley doesn’t think he should be working for the NCIS. She sees the LAPD detective as more of a civilian.
It looks like Deeks may have to prove himself to Mosley in the early going of “NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 9. However, a released photo for episode 2 titled “Assets” shows Deeks working alongside Sam (LL Cool J) and Callen. There is nothing much more known about the episode though.
Sam working with the team in the photo is also significant since “NCIS: Los Angeles” Season 9 spoilers indicated that he will be initially hesitant in rejoining the team. He fell into depression after the death of his wife Michelle.
It is said that it will take a while for the team to get used to their new boss. It doesn’t help that she will tagging along her equally intimidating assistant Harley Hidoku (Andrea Bordeaux). She is extremely loyal to Mosley which makes the NCIS team hesitant being around her. They know that whatever they say against Mosley will likely be relayed to her by Harley.
