NCIS Los Angeles has been the home for most of its stars for 14 years and now it’s time for them to move on and start again elsewhere.
NCIS Los Angeles fans were left stunned when CBS announced it would be coming to an end in a matter of months. Fast-forward to present day and there are just a handful of episodes left to air with the stars making plans for what they are going to do once the cameras stop rolling. Here’s everything there is to know so far about what the NCIS Los Angeles cast will be getting up to next.
What will the cast of NCIS Los Angeles do next?
LL Cool J
Agent Sam Hanna has been played by Grammy Award-winning rapper LL Cool J since the very beginning.
He is going to be focusing more on his music career, having made a collaboration social media post with Rock the Bells cruise, announcing their line-up for the November event.
Cool J wrote: “From 50 years to forever! The sold-out Rock The Bells Cruise: A Hip-Hop Experience lineup is here!
“We’re bringing the celebration of Hip-Hop turning 50 to the high seas with Sixthman (the industry leader in unforgettable music festivals at sea) and bringing some of the greatest DJs, MCs, and producers of all time with us.”
The 55-year-old will be popping up again on the small screen as well though, as he is set to star in the first season of new musical game show, Superfan on CBS.
Superfan, which was announced in February, has already been ordered for a full series, and is expected to debut later this year.
LL Cool J will join the likes of Pitbull and Shania Twain as the competition series’ special musical guests.
The show will challenge a music superfan to prove their absolute devotion to one of the stars.
Each of the famous faces, including Cool J, will choose their own super fan, giving them a “once in a lifetime prize”.
Daniela Ruah
Agent Kensi Blye star Daniela Ruah is one-half of the fan-favourite romance with Agent Marty Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen).
Of course, away from the show, Ruah is actually Olsen’s sister-in-law as she is married to his brother and stuntman David Paul Olsen.
The 39-year-old is going to appear in the new Portuguese Netflix thriller, Rabo de Peixe, later this year.
She will portray a character called Fatima in the show, which follows four friends whose lives change with the arrival of a ton of cocaine
Eric Christian Olsen
Marty Deeks actor Eric Christian Olsen will be stepping behind the camera once his time on NCIS LA is up.
He is going to be working as an executive producer on the CBS reboot of the 1980s series Matlock.
Sharing the news to his loyal fans, Olsen posted: “So overwhelmed with excitement to be partnering with these creative superstars. Jennie, Joanna, Sierra, Bethany, Kathy, Kat, Anna, Meagen, John, our partners at @cbstvstudios and @cbstv LFG!!!!”
The show will be a “gender swap reboot” with Kathy Bates starring as Madeline Matlock, a role that was originally Ben Matlock and played by actor Andy Griffith.
